Renovation of the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki District
The joint work of the UNK project and a Japanese company with more than a century of history proposes to create neighbourhoods of several houses, different in height and design of the facades.
The first floors are public; entrance groups face both the street and the courtyard, which looks like a mini-park. Cars are not allowed there. The main idea of the consortium is to make a full-fledged urban area with green spaces, a shopping complex and covered passages with retail outlets out of a residential micro district. Revitalize the area and help the system of the urban regions. Each quarter will differ from another in its flowering tree - apple, cherry, or lilac. The authors notably highlight the zone of the Japanese courtyard, where sakura blooms.
